The answer is not to starve yourself or
jog around the world 3 times.
All that is needed to achieve lasting weight loss, assuming that there is no pre-existing medical condition, is to adjust our dietary intake both by type and eating routine. No pills are needed to lose that big thigh.
You have a weight problem for the simplest of reasons. You are eating meals in the wrong patterns with the wrong calories and foods per meal.
We have all shot off to the gym and strengthened those abs, run a million miles and eaten celery till we turn green. The gym gets rich, our fruit and vegetable shop loves us and we still have big thighs.
Our eating pattern is one of the most important elements and stronger than any weight loss pill. Your body only needs certain foods at certain times of the day, if you are eating the wrong foods at the wrong time of day then your body cannot burn those calories and they will get stored as fat.
Starving yourself (using a low calorie diet) is not the best way to lose weight as your metabolism will detect any major drop in calories and it will then ADJUST ITSELF by burning fewer calories each day. Of course we are talking about healthy starvation as opposed to third world starvation. Whether metabolic rate can be altered and the extent to which it can be altered are not well-defined. In general, it is however widely believed that dieting decreases metabolic rate and exercise increases it.
Another consideration is why you have fallen into these bad eating habits. Most of us do because we have never been taught how to eat what when correctly. We then all get to desperation stage and that is what the diet pill companies and weight loss centres prey upon. If you have enough willpower to follow clear commonsense instructions, then you are open to change in your life.
Consider the Shifting Calories
theory which is a new healthy way to look at weight loss, and
is the theory most promoted by the Fat

Lets get the body out of it's fat storing rut. Time to SHOCK your metabolism into gear.
Your metabolism doesn't know how much food
you will eat tomorrow or the next day because those days have not happened
Therefore, your metabolism always burns calories based on your eating habits during the past few days.Guess what? If you shock your metabolism by doing the OPPOSITE of what it expects you to do and NOT continue eating the same types of calories and meals for more than a couple days at a time, you will lose weight.
To make this work you need to SHIFT certain types of calories eaten, and if you do this then your metabolism will burn all of the calories eaten.Then, when it finishes burning those calories it will find the nearest available fat tissue on your body and burn fat their too. Bingo, the answer to lose that big thigh syndrome.
The theory is as you can see, notwithstanding that moderate excersise and sensible food groups are obviously healthy, knowing when to eat and what calories to target is the answer on how to lose that thigh fat and it only involves shifting your eating habits around and making your own body regulate back to a healthy level with your prompting.
